Youth In Music Work
"As a young child, my life was filled with music. I can remember singing on stage at age 3, started playing clarinet in school starting in 5th grade, was in marching band and concert orchestra, sang in school chorus, and competed in school vocal competitions, and then was privileged travel with professional groups starting at age 14. At age 16, I sat behind my first sound board, and from there it took off.
Music was there for me at times of my life when it hasn't been easy in life. Music was an outlet that allowed me hope and gave me something to focus on when I was young, and helped shape my life today.
Music chose me at a young age, and I have been honored to be mentored by some amazing people. It is my honor and now my duty to be a mentor." ~ Sheri
